3u Audio CM-1 Teal Matched Pair 6 String Acoustic Guitar
The Cm-1 mics were run through the preamps in a Focusrite Scarlett 18i20, as they are the most transparent preamps I have. I wanted to test the sound and transient response of the mics, uncolored by tubes or transformers. No processing was done, except for level matching. No low cut filters or pads were engaged on the mics.
The guitar is a solid mahogany top, back and sides 1980 Takamine F-349, which is a clone of a Martin D-17. It has a bone nut and saddle. Strings are D'Addario Coated 80/20 Bronze 11-52 gauge, installed just before these tests.
